What's black Titanium

Black Titanium, also named Black ZircTi, is one kind of Titanium & Zirconium alloy, no Nickel and Iron. You can easily get a black color oxide surface by gas torch in several minutes. No need to control the oxygen glow, no need to control the temperature and time in a furnace, it is very a very simple process.

The black surface is extremely durable and scratch-resistant. Not a coating on the surface. The color is brighter than Zr702 and Zr705.

As we know, both Titanium and Zirconium are hypo-allergenic, bio-compatible, lightweight, and anti-corrosion materials, so Titanium and Zirconium alloy were used to make jewelries.

What metals are in superconductor

As shown in the picture, the black regions are  Titanium and Niobium alloy wires. The surrounding region (the red color) is copper. The superconductor rods are the cut-off during making suoerconductor cables. So it is very hard to get a same pattern items. On the other hand, little company can make superconductor cables, so the stable supply of superconductor rods are not available. Superconductors have a density very close to copper. Approximately 8.9 g/cm^3.
